It´s a perfect opportunity to meet fellow makers, see some fuzzy animals, or learn a technique (or two)! Knitting events always seem to pass me by, so this year I´m looking ahead to make sure I don´t miss anything! Here are five west coast knitting events and conventions for 2023!

1. Rose City Yarn Crawl – Portland, OR (February 23-26)

   • Fiber Marketplace and a variety of workshops from finishing techniques to introduction to design.

   • A self-guided tour through participating LA County yarn shops. Get a yarn crawl passport and get stamps at each location for a chance to win prizes!

4. Lambtown Festival – Dixon, CA (October 7-8)
   • A celebration of all things sheep, lamb, and wool at the Dixon Fairgrounds. Shop from California fiber vendors and learn about sheep!

   • A celebration of all things fiber and the animals that provide it! Buy wool and learn how to prepare it to spin, see sheep-shearing in action, or make goat cheese!
