“The coldest winter I ever spent was a summer in San Francisco” – Mark Twain
Happy belated Mother’s Day to all the sweet mamas out there. I hope you all are excited for the warmer weather Summer should bring. San Francisco is definitely a different story. Summer usually means mist and fog sweeping over the hills, the cold infiltrating every street until every soul is huddled up with a coffee inside of one of San Francisco’s hundreds of cafes. We had our (very unusually warm) days of Spring and its time to hunker down and prepare for what we call the June Gloom. The Richmond District, where I call home, is arguably one of the foggiest neighborhoods in the “city by the bay”. To ready myself for the months to come, I’ve stockpiled these hand-knit cabled headbands to keep my ears a little warmer.
But the best part is…. You can own one too! I made my first listing on Etsy for headbands in four different colors, each representing a particular characteristic of the Richmond District: Ocean, Sand, Mist, and Storm. Visit my store here!
Thanks so much for reading! What would you like to see posted up in the store? I look forward to your comments!
