Hello there and happy Friday!
I hope you’re all staying warm under blankets with some hot tea… Maybe a fire in the fireplace? That sounds like my happy place. The past few days have been perfect pajama days due to the super rainy weather. I even finished up a project I’ve been putting off for too long. I don’t know about you, but when I get close to finishing something, I decide to move on to something else and my project ends up sitting in a basket ignored and forgotten.
I hateeeeee weaving in my ends and the close-to-completed projects just sit around. Today I finally decided to finish up a cowl that took less than five minutes to weave in. I look back on it and think to myself, ‘why did I procrastinate so long?’ There is no reason for that. I know for next time, right? (Let’s hope).
This cozy cowl is super fast, simple AND a one-skein wonder. (It’s a triple-threat). Its knitted with seed stitch in the round, making it quick. The directions and yarn information can be found here. I had so much fun making it and I hope you do too! It is warm, lightweight, and perfect for traveling.
Speaking of traveling, a cute little Anthropologie package traveled to me today with a surprise gift from none-other than my hunky man! How adorable is this owl bottle opener?! He’s so thoughtful. I hope you have a beautiful week! Lovey love!
